Hurricane Laura ripped the pink insulation from under the cabin out- plans to get it redone but now another storm is eminent. Will wait to see what this storm brings!

Hurricane Laura has knocked down power lines and the gutter. Trees sliced in half, debris of insulation, and some of the pier pilings were torn up. Clean up has begun!

Like most other properties on Toledo Bend Lake, in Sabine Parish we do not have a trash pickupBag the trash and take it with you. We will have several trash bags for you underneath the kitchen sink. As an extra preparation I recommend bringing some extra trash bags of your own if you plan to generate a large amount of trash. If you run out of trash bags there is a little store on the corner of Little Flock Road and Hwy 191 that has them. The cabin is located in a rural location where no trash service is available. Trash left on the premises will result in forfeiture of the damage deposit. We hope to eventually have a trash removal service in the future, but until then please help us out and take the trash with you. The map below shows you where the nearest trash compactor site is near Toledo Bend Cabin.
